Boston trip9/25/2023 Table linens (offered in a million colors) and chairs, menu cards, table numbers, the hotel suite for the night of the wedding, the wedding cake, even a wonderful piano player for cocktail hour are all included in the wedding package. The Lenox Hotel's food is amazing- and we loved our private tasting picking everything out! We loved how easy it was to customize menu offerings to our liking and add-on additional entree options. Having so many things included through The Lenox was a huge perk and made the planning process so much easier. From customizing the design of our menu cards to match our invitations, to ensuring every single guest with a food allergy was taken care of, Mara went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and no detail was forgotten. It was clear from the beginning that she is a pro at making the planning process a breeze, and making sure every opinion and dream from the couple is recognized. From the initial tour of the venue, Mara Payne was beyond incredible to work with. We held our wedding at The Lenox Hotel and it was the best. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will stay there again next time I get to Boston. as well as shorter 'errand' walks to pick up coffee or any forgotten toiletries nearby. And the hotel's location was perfect for great, long sightseeing walks. We were grateful for the mini frig in the room as well, which allowed us to keep cool snacks and cold drinks. The hotel also offered hot cocoa & cookies service each evening, and hot tea/coffee each morning. nightly turndown service with yummy Lindt truffles and fresh water bottles were a delight. The housekeeper that we had most of our time there was wonderful. Only downside is we had to call downstairs any time we wanted it lit (firecode prevents them from leaving anything in the room that would allow us to light it ourselves). The rooms were quite large (there were 3 of us - two adults and a teen), and the fireplace warmed the whole space for about an hour each time. We reserved a corner room with a fireplace, and were not disappointed by its warmth and charm. We would highly recommend the Lenox and would like to thank the staff for making it one of the most pleasurable visits to Boston that we have had. On a final note, the hotel contains several bars and the sangria is beautiful! We also used Uber a lot and the prices were great! The hotel's location is brilliant and everything is within either walking distance or can be accessed via the T (which is a 3 minute walk away). We were also delighted to discover each room has its own golf umbrella, as it threw it down one day and we obviously hadn't thought to bring an umbrella in our suitcases! It was the small touches that made it feel so special. We loved getting back to our room at night to see that our bed had been turned down and Lindt chocolates had been left on the pillows. The magnifying mirror was also very useful. The bathroom was on the small side but had everything you could possibly need, and the lighting was superb (with the option of a night light in case you needed to use the bathroom during the night). Our room was spacious and the bed (king) was extremely comfortable. When you walk into the lobby it smells amazing, and the staff are so friendly and helpful (without being too full on). Whilst the hotel is far more traditional than we are used to, it oozes charm and character and we soon grew to love it. Our usual accommodation wasn't available this trip so, after hours of searching the internet for other options, we tentatively chose the Lenox based on the excellent customer reviews it had received.
